Buaai began with a small dream in a tiny room – a dream nurtured by Khushboo, who believed that even the tiniest seed can bring big change.
It all started a year ago, when what used to be her child’s toy room turned into her little workshop filled with clay, colours, and the scent of fresh paper. Between toys and tools, Khushboo began crafting something close to her heart, paper that could grow back into life!
As a mother, she always wanted her child to grow up in a greener, more mindful world. Between managing her home, family, and motherhood, she would spare those little pockets of time to follow her passion, proving that when your purpose is pure, everything is certain to fall into place.
Khushboo has always loved designing. Whether it was colours, patterns, or textures, they made her happy, but the question, “Why should creativity cost us our trees?” never left her mind.
And that’s how she planted the first seed of Buaai!
She started experimenting with bits of waste paper and tiny seeds, scrolling through ideas on the internet, slowly learning how to make handmade seed paper. Her idea wasn’t truly about making paper, but turning waste into new life and giving nature something in return.
Living in a small town, she often heard people say, “Big ideas only work in big cities.” But Khushboo chose to believe it otherwise. She wanted to set an example that meaningful ideas can bloom anywhere — all you need is love for what you do and care for the world around you.
Her deep connection with nature sparked a bigger purpose to create eco-friendly, pollution-free products and inspire others to give back to the earth that gives us everything.
